圆子（高濑春奈 饰）是一名平凡的家庭主妇，深陷在无穷无尽的家务事中，圆子感到疲惫又窒息，她唯一寻求刺激的方式，就是在商店行窃，唯有此时，她才能感到自己实实在在的活着。一次偶然之中，圆子的偷窃行为被一位名叫光子（樋口可南子 饰）的女子瞧见，担心事情败露的圆子追随到了光子家，以金钱贿赂对方，希望光子能够替自己保守秘密。
随着时间的推移，圆子和光子之间竟然产生了暧昧的感情，圆子的丈夫孝太郎（原田芳雄 饰）发现了妻子的异样，并最终得知了光子的存在。孝太郎怎么也想不到，自己的情敌竟然是女人，然而光子实在太过美丽，孝太郎在不知不觉之中亦被其吸引。
